How to Use a MOSA Cream Whipper with N2O Chargers

What you need

• A MOSA or other standard cream whipper (0.25 L, 0.5 L or 1 L)
• MOSA 8g N2O cream chargers
• Cold double or whipping cream (at least 30% fat)
• Sugar or flavourings (optional)

Step by step

1. Chill the cream and the whipper. Cold cream holds more gas and whips firmer.
2. Pour the cream in up to the max line, never above it. Add sugar or syrup now and stir.
3. Check the silicone gasket is seated, then screw the head on firmly by hand.
4. Put one 8g charger in the charger holder (two for a 1 L whipper) and screw it on until you hear the gas release.
5. Remove the empty charger holder. Shake the whipper 4–6 times for soft cream, more for firm.
6. Hold the whipper upside down and press the lever gently to dispense.

How many chargers?

• 0.25 L whipper: 1 charger
• 0.5 L whipper: 1 charger
• 1 L whipper: 2 chargers

Cleaning and safety

• Release any remaining gas before opening the head.
• Wash the head, nozzle and gasket in warm soapy water after each use.
• Use chargers only in a whipper. Never inhale nitrous oxide.
• Recycle empty steel chargers only.
