Alongside the environmental permits required to prevent pollution, MOSA runs internal inspections and audits overseen by senior management.

Its environmental management system is certified to the ISO 14001 standard.

To support Taiwan’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction and Management Act, introduced in July 2015 to cut and manage emissions and adapt to climate change, MOSA has committed to auditing and registering its greenhouse gas emissions in line with the regulations.

As a leading manufacturer of mini high-pressure steel cylinders, MOSA is not on the government’s first list of audited emission sources, but it will audit and register its emissions as the law requires.

Our Story

MOSA Industrial Corporation is based in the Central Taiwan Science Park (Huwei Park), on a site covering 140,000 m².

Founded in 1988 as a maker of plastic products, MOSA began its transformation in 1992, developing high-pressure gas chargers and its own gas-filling technology. By 2002 it had become a specialist charger manufacturer and moved into hybrid inflators for car safety airbags, reaching mass production of several inflator types in 2011. In 2019 the company listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE).

Filling know-how is the core technology behind a great charger. MOSA builds its own automated filling equipment to increase the gas in every charger and to widen the range of applications across industries. Today MOSA Industrial Corp. is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of consumer high-pressure gas chargers, while MOSA Safety System Corp. produces airbag hybrid inflators. The group holds patents in Taiwan, China, the EU and the USA, with TÜV ISO/TS 16949 quality certification as well as BAM EC, DOT and French INERIS certifications.
